So, this story is about two very bad days.
The first one is Chris’—he works at Every’s, a chain department store that’s open 24 hours a day, where he works as the assistant manager. He tries to maintain order amidst the slack-jawed, droop-eyed laziness and boredom of his co-workers: his smart-ass sister Liz, the other shy-but-slightly-creepy Kris, the sarcastic Veronica, and finally, the only decent, hard worker in the bunch, Nate.
